Mid Wales Farming Experience
Richard a 3rd generation farmer, has 30 years of general farming experience and farms in Mid Wales.

Richard Qualified from the prestigious University of Wales Aberystwyth, (previous Alumni “King Charles III”) with an honours degree in Rural Resources Management. Discipline in economics, marketing and sustainable agriculture a subject close to His Majesty's studies.
The family farm once boasted a beautiful small British Friesian dairy herd sadly lost to Foot and Mouth disease in 2001 then followed by a Waitrose supermarket Hereford beef production enterprise. A successful Boer meat goat enterprise built up local trade and sales of pedigree breeding stock along with healthy lean meat supply to both local and Halal butchers. Moving forward I am looking to pursue an interest in introducing the West African giant Ladoum sheep breed to the UK that are highly prized and revered in the Islamic culture.
We have also diversified into sustainable green tourism and created a narrowboat marina on the Monmouthshire & Brecon canal providing much needed moorings and operating services to help boost and enhance users and beneficiaries of the canal and its local surrounding areas.
